Dr. Ambrose-Zaken coordinated and taught the Hunter College CUNY O&M program in New York City for 25 years where she trained more than 100 O&M specialists. Her research team have documented the extreme developmental delays in blind children resulting from walking without effective mobility tool protection and the significant improvement in all skills children wearing a Belt Cane achieve.
